When you transfer ownership, the bike record stays in the system but moves to the new owner's account. The complete ownership history is preserved for transparency.

The serial number is required for registration. Check under the bottom bracket, on the seat tube, rear stays, or near the headset. If you cannot find it, contact the manufacturer or bike shop where you purchased it.

Scan the QR code sticker with the Bike Registry app, or search by serial number (a free account is required). If the bike is marked as stolen, you can contact the owner through our secure messaging system.

Each sticker has a unique QR code linked to your bike. Anyone with the Bike Registry app (free) can scan it to check the status and contact the owner — making lost or stolen bikes easier to recover.

Stickers are shipped within 2-3 business days. Delivery time depends on your location, typically 5-10 business days.

No. We are GDPR compliant and privacy-first. Public searches only show bike status, city, and country. Your personal details remain private.

We store your name, email, phone number (optional), and bike information. We never share your personal details publicly - only bike status, city, and country are visible in searches. All data handling complies with GDPR regulations.

You can delete your account from the app settings. All your data will be permanently removed in compliance with GDPR.

Bike Registry is available in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia. We are expanding across the Nordics and the Baltics.

If a bike is not found in our database, it hasn't been registered yet. (Searching requires a free Bike Registry account.) We recommend asking the seller to register it first, or you can register it yourself after purchase to protect your investment.
